Melbourne Zoo

Also known as the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens, the Melbourne Zoo is home to more than 320 species of animals that are found in Australia as well as the rest of the world. Here you’ll get the chance to learn about each species and will have the opportunity to take some great pictures. This zoo is situated pretty close to the center of town as well, making it a short drive from other attractions in the area.

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium

A large and beautiful aquarium that plays host to sea life from the southern ocean and Antarctic, the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is a great find for both adults and children. Here you’ll get to view sea life and fish up close and personal while learning more about not only them as a species but their environment as well. Making this aquarium even more attractive is its location. Visitors will find themselves right next to the King Street Bridge on the banks of the Yarra River.
